Monsters have taken over Year 7 Art class this month. They have learnt how to use coil and pinch method working with clay. They have worked really hard and created a bunch of amazing monsters inspired in the work of Chris Ryniak and James de Rosso.
Year 8 has had a Charcoal workshop. We have had fun. Their inner artists have emerged to create these fantastic portraits from each other! We worked in pairs, doing possing sessions that help them to develop their artistic skills as well as their observation.
Here some examples of the amazing work that Year 9 did in Art lessons. After studying African Style they have worked in the creation of their own mask. We have plenty of artists in the school!
